The Russian layering technique (also known as Russian lashes and 3D-6D lashes) originated in Russia and has recently made a breakthrough in the US and Europe. This multi-lash technique involves adhering synthetic ultra-fine lashes onto a single natural lash (up to 700 for a full set). Russian Eyelashes give clients full, high impact glamorous lashes while keeping a soft delicate and natural look.

What are individual eyelash extensions?

Is a glue patch test required?

No. Our glue is designed for the most sensitive skin/eyes.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Please ensure your lashes are squeaky clean. the glue will bond better when your lashes are clean and oil free. This will also mean the eyelash technician can spend more time applying eyelashes than cleaning them.

How long do the eyelash extensions last before I will need an infill?

If you follow the proper after-care instructions, lashes can last 2-3 weeks before you need an infill. However, duration dpends on your lash cycle. These lashes will last 4-6 weeks before they all fall off.

Can I use mascara?

Yes, you can only use oil-free, water based mascara on your eyelash extensions. You can purchase this in our salon. Please remove your eye make-up daily with water or oil-free makeup remover to keep your eyelash extensions clean and bacteria free.

Will eyelash extensions damage my own lashes?

No, if applied individually and perfectly separated.

Will I lose my own lashes?

This depends on your own natural lash cycle. The average person’s lash cycle is 3 months. You may find one of your own lashes stuck to an eyelash extension, this is because your eyelash was due to shed. Our eyelash extensions will not damage your own lashes if you follow the aftercare step by step.

How can I remove lashes?

You must always have your eyelash extensions professionally removed to avoid damaging your natural lashes. Never pull or rub your eyes if you have any eyelash extensions on.

How do I care for my eyelashes?

You must keep your eyelashes away from water for the first 48 hours. Avoid saunas, steam rooms and facials for the first 48 hours after application. Never rub, pull or pick your eyelash extensions as this can cause your natural lashes to fall out or break. Do not sleep on your face as this may cause the lashes to bend in the wrong direction. Use only oil-free makeup remover, in a downward motion, not side to side as this can loosen the bonds. You can only wear water soluble mascara (water-based). Do not tint, curl or perm your eyelash extensions.
